Join PCG along the scenic shores of Lake Erie at our Cleveland Novice Triathlon Camp, designed for newer triathletes and those building confidence in their foundational skills. This camp provides a supportive environment for athletes taking their first steps in the sport, with coaching that prioritizes clarity, comfort, and steady progression.
As our designated Novice Camp, Cleveland emphasizes skill development across all disciplines. This camp equips developing athletes with the essential tools to advance confidently in their triathlon journey.

Daily training sessions including open water swimming and bike/run bricks
Swim video analysis & open water swim skills
Bike skills and handling technique
Bike fit check — not a full fit — and advice with Coach Jeff Sherrod
Run Video Analysis
Strength & Mobility Assessments with Coach Shannon Clawson
Unique Training Destinations:
Lake Erie: Provides excellent open-water swimming opportunities at places like Edgewater Park.
Cleveland Metroparks: Extensive park system provides boundless cycling routes and closed-to-traffic paved trails for running.
Accessibility: Cleveland’s West Side is conveniently nestled only 15 minutes by car or train from the airport and each of our training locations are within 10 minutes of each other!
Fuel up in our vibrant and booming restaurant scene, recognized as a top foodie city, offering a diverse culinary landscape with hot spots emerging across neighborhoods like Downtown, Ohio City, and Cleveland West, featuring unique culinary adventures and innovative concepts to historic comfort food and ethnic gems

Travel and housing not included in the camp fees
Camps are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of athletes do not register
In the event the athlete is unable to attend, camp fee will be credited to a future event.
