Keller is an elite triathlete on the Olympic development team, Project Podium looking to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He grew up around Triathlon, his mother raced Xterra (off road triathlon) and his father raced mountain bikes throughout his whole childhood. He grew up on the swim team, and had aspirations to play professional soccer in Europe. Come high school, his best friends convinced him to take a break from soccer and join the cross country team in the fall. He fell in love with running, and quickly joined a junior high performance triathlon team. For the first 3 years of high school he was focused on swimming and running goals, while racing the USA Triathlon Junior Elite series around the country. Very quickly he began to see results in running, becoming the 2020 USATF Cross Country National champion,  5th place at the Oregon State XC championships, and the runner up in both the 1500 and 3000 at the state track meet. That triathlon season, he won two Elite Development races and qualified for his elite license. The rest of the year was canceled due to COVID.

Keller’s success was noticed by the coach of Project Podium, and he joined the team in Arizona in early 2021. In his first season on the team, he won multiple Junior Elite Cups, and finished 24th at the Junior World Championships. His second season, he won every Junior Elite Cup, including the 2022 National championships and finished 5th at the American Junior Championships. He has since finished 8th in the Montreal Continental cup, 20th at the Xterra full distance World Championships, and 16th at the Xterra Short Track World Championships in his second year racing Xterra.
