PAUL CLAWSON
At age 58, Paul Clawson stepped away from the corporate world to pursue a second career built around a passion for visual storytelling, sports, and creative content production.
His journey began in 2018, managing social media for Coach Wes Johnson’s Balanced Art Multisport. Entirely self-taught, Paul developed a distinctive eye for capturing the energy, emotion, and human stories behind athletic performance. What began as an exploration of photography, videography, and social media evolved into a creative career spanning elite athletics, coaching, personal development, and brand storytelling.
Over the years, Paul has collaborated with internationally respected coaches, including Bobby McGee, Matt Pendola, and Wes Johnson, and professional athletes such as Danielle Lewis. His work has included contributions to organizations and brands such as Dare2Tri, the Pendola Project, and Opus & Golds Group.
He currently oversees creative content and media strategy for the Pure Intelligence Life ecosystem, translating complex ideas about human potential, personal transformation, and performance into compelling visual narratives.
A passionate believer in the power of collaboration, Paul is an outspoken advocate for reciprocity, mutual support, and shared success—qualities he believes are too often overlooked in the fiercely competitive, sometimes self-serving world of professional sports. His philosophy is simple: meaningful collaboration elevates everyone, and genuine relationships should always matter more than individual recognition.
Paul lives in Heber City, Utah, with his wife, Shannon, a fellow business owner and Head Coach of Podium Coaching Group. Together, they split their time between Utah’s Wasatch Mountains and northwestern Montana.
