Wes was a Division 1 swimmer for the University of Utah and competed in triathlon during his off seasons. His passion for triathlon flourished and led him to establish pivital relationships with experts such such BMC professional cycling coach Max Testa and Olympic running coach Bobby McGee. He has traveled all over the world learning from the very best in several conferences, certifications and mentorships.

Wes has been a full-time triathlon coach for 8 years and has coached several podium-level professional athletes, Paralympic medalists and top national-level junior elite athletes. In addition, he has coached several age groupers towards Kona, 70.3 Worlds, and ITU Sprint- and Olympic-Distance Worlds. Prior to joining PCG, Wes was founder and head coach of Balanced Art Multisport (BAM), a triathlon coaching business that led to massive success for athletes at all levels of the sport. Wes is currently the Head Women’s Triathlon Coach at the University of Arizona.
